HOW DIVYA STARTED HER JOURNEY

People often say you build the products you need, and for our pharmacist-come-founder, Divya, this has been exactly true. NALO sprang from necessity, crafted by our founder Divya—a pharmacist whose demanding job left her in search of nourishing yet flavourful on-the-go snacks. Unable to find anything that satisfied her palate, influenced by her vibrant Indian heritage, she began creating her own treats. What started as kitchen experiments with various nuts for the perfect fusion of absorption and taste quickly became sought after by her peers. This was the turning point, Divya realised she could bring her pharmaceutical know-how to nutrition and build something tasty and unique.

From a humble London kitchen, NALO has grown to supply top hotels and exclusive members clubs. Divya’s meticulous approach to flavour ensures every recipe is refined for months in her kitchen before debut. Such is her dedication to exquisite taste and perfection that it took Divya a year to perfect NALO’s most luxurious offering: Maple Truffle Cashews & Almonds.

SNACKS SPRINKLED IN SCIENCE

Divya's Scottish-Indian background and worldly travels inspire each flavour, leading her to test extensively to source only the finest ingredients—like selecting the perfect truffle after trying 14 varieties. Working alongside food scientists, Divya handcrafts each nut seasoning, believing spices can take you on a global journey without leaving your kitchen. Each product is a balance of her passion for flavour, alongside an encyclopaedic knowledge of our nutritional needs.
